If you have to cheat to win, then you didn't really win, you just cheated.

If I played poorly and won, I felt bad but if I played poorly and lost, I felt worse.

What if I played well and lost? Well, as in the example I gave, Diane Pierce was just flat better than me. I was 17, she was one of the top players in the world. No, I was STILL upset that I lost.

I HATE losing, no matter whatDr. AnnMariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13741371839260099343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2192186541955038172.post-28228404956715308912011-08-10T06:45:03.918-07:002011-08-10T06:45:03.918-07:00In judo competition I have reconciled myself to lo...In judo competition I have reconciled myself to losing because of a wide variety of factors, so I don't compete. Instead, I train my people to be the best dern judo players or teachers they can be (and been doing a pretty good job of it!).

On the other hand, I can't stand losing in academics, there's a reason I pursued the MBA with vigor and why my parents-in-law can't stand me. You've been a great influence on me, and I do so appreciate it!Lorenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01715407830225128186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2192186541955038172.post-71871820974691703282011-08-09T13:17:38.806-07:002011-08-09T13:17:38.806-07:00So you are not into all this "its how you pla...So you are not into all this "its how you play the game" philosophy at all?How To Make HomeMade Winehttp://www.how-to-make-home-made-wine.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2192186541955038172.post-40811883195457288232011-08-07T22:41:35.859-07:002011-08-07T22:41:35.859-07:00I hate losing, but not as much as you do. As you know, I have been on the losing end of 75 straight matches...I HATE losing. a lot of people say not to worry about that because what i'm doing is "bigger than wins and losses" I don't buy it.

I don't handle losing well, i beat myself up, but I cant stop training.. Would I trade 75 losses for one Win? Oh Hell yeah, i would but i cant and "The blessing of losing" for me is that when i do finally get a win, all of those losses will make it that much sweeterMatthttp://www.disabledgrappler.comnoreply@blogger.com
