Warning: This is another mean old lady rant. I do actually have some cool stuff on arm bars and escapes I'll put up later this week but I really have to get some work done first for my actual job where they pay me money.

Speaking of strength training, in a previous post (http://drannmaria.blogspot.com/2011/05/athlete-i-dont-think-it-means-what-you.html) you talked about v situps and said they're not that hard.
ReplyDeleteWell do you have a progression for someone who can't do even one properly but wants to work up to being able to do v situps for repetitions?
Sure. V sit-ups are basically a combination of a regular sit up and leg lifts. If you can't do it, work on doing the easier feet on the floor, knees up kind of sit up and on doing leg lifts. These are essentially doing the two parts of a v sit-up separately. Once you do enough of those it should not be to hard to start doing them together.
