Dr. De Mars blog on having achieved success in business, sports and academics without ever actually having grown up. Also includes random thoughts on judo, parenting, mixed martial arts, winning & whatever I feel like rambling on about today.
I'm confused by the comments on pregnant women partaking in judo. Is judo considered a safe activity while pregnant?
How does riding unbroken horses while pregnant make practicing judo while pregnant any more or less safe? That sounds like a logical fallacy.
A fallacy similar to somebody shooting themselves in the head, not dying or having any serious medical consequences as a result of the action, and then claiming that 'if I was fine after shooting myself in the head than driving 90 MPH down the road while blindfolded, strung out on PCP, and drunk is perfectly safe'.
Yes I know the analogy is on the extreme side. I tend towards the dramatic in my literary works.
